Studio I – Residential

PROJECT: This course, the first in a series of five interior design studio experiences, introduced basic interior design principles, theory and conceptual processes. The emphasis was on creating small-scale environments based on the interaction of the individual with the environment.

CLIENT: Iris owns a local yarn and weaving shop and has a huge collection of raw
materials: wool , cottons, silks, linens and more. Iris loves hosting out of town guests and entertaining frequently. Additionally, Iris grows and collects a multitude of orchids. She has an extensive shoe and handbag collection. Iris enjoys the finer things in life and wants her home to reflect her style and interests. natural elements mixed with exclusive finishes and furniture pieces will create an elegant, sophisticated and feminine residence for Iris.
